Zmodeler2 Using the UV Remapping Tool |

Zmodeler2 Using the UV Remapping Tool
This video demonstrates how to use the UV ReMapper, found under Edit / Surface / UV Remapper.
Sometimes I need to map a texture to the body.tga so that the menucar uses the textures necessary to look right.
Copy the texture to an area of the body.tga that is unused. Save as body.tga. In Zmodeler2 use "Selected Mode" "Select / Quadr". Hide all then select the part to re-map to the body.tga. With Selected Mode ON, click the part. Right click + [ctrl] ahd mouse over the part to de-select any polys that may have been previously selected.
Go to Select / By Material and select the texture that you want to copy to the body.tga. Click Edit / Surface / UV Remapper. This will open a screen where you need to choose your texture on the left. At the top is a drop down list of other available texture to re-map to. Which is body[ext] for FlatOut 1 or 2.
Be patient and click the texture and a Square will appear with the body.tga. Move the share to the texture that you want to replicate and align the corners to fit by Zooming in. Once you are done click on remap in the lower right corner.
Return to Object Mode and right click the part. Select Properties / Polygons /Materials and it should be body[ext].

Zmodeler2 Tutorial Compilation |
|
I have uploaded a compilation of some new Zmodeler2 Tutorials for the FlatOut1 and FlatOut2 series.
The tutorials show what to do after importing or merging a model, creating a template for the body.tga and more.
